Rare vagrant. During August 2020, several observers were noted in the Kherson region. The first observation on August 9, 2020 by Oleksandr Burkovsky, Yevhen Chernolyev, Tetiana Chernolyeva and Nicola Zmievskiy.

The Westernmost observation and the first on the territory of the Right Bank steppe in the nesting period, a brood was observed. Actively settles in the western direction, the nearest known places of regular nesting are in the south of the Kherson area.

Rare species. The first observation at the Tyligul estuary.
A flock of 5 birds was observed by Pavlo Panchenko near the village of Koshary on May 3. On May 2, Dmytro Milyutin photographed another flock of 16 birds near the village of Kayiry.

It is a rare flying sight in Ukraine. There is evidence of nesting of the species in the south of the Crimean peninsula.

Gray lark is a species of uncertain status. There is no reliable breeding data for the last 35 years. Single reliable meetings available during migration and wintering. This is probably the first photograph of this species in Ukraine.

A rare flying bird for the fauna of Ukraine. The second reliable meeting for the Odessa region and the Northwest Black Sea region. The bird was discovered by Polish animation photographers Józef Szołtun, Krzysztof Merski (aka Josef Sas), Paweł Makarewicz and Witold Lisicki in the lower lane of Tyligul estuary.

The second record for this year in Ukraine. Juvenile individual was photographed at Telbin Lake, Kyiv (North Ukraine) on 14.10.2019. This is the 21th registration for Ukraine and this is the first registration for the Kyiv region.
